Round Mountain, TX; It's a great way to live!

If you are driving down US Hwy 281 from Texas Hwy 71 to Johnson City, TX you could easily drive through and not notice us at all. What a shame! We are few but we are mighty and we are proud. Ranchers, farmers, and just ole Texas families working and playing and enjoying our laid back style of living. No stop lights, no long lines anywhere. We might have to travel a bit to enjoy a shopping mall experience but we have 2 fine places to eat, a wonderful bank, a friendly quick market with a service station, a produce market(Katidid's Market), a bed and breakfast business (Spring Creek Bed and Breakfast), a trailer park and lots of hard working families. Every one says hello and is always ready to lend a helping hand. What more can one ask of a one-horse town. Living is easy and we like it.
